We recently had lunch here. The food was excellent, and the portions were generous without being too much. We were greeted by Lil Benny; he is so friendly and wanted to be sure we were happy with our food. Great place, easy on and off from the freeway.
The best food I've ever had in Macon......had the bbq chicken sandwich with mac and cheese and the smoked dressing.......THE BEST!!! If your ever in Macon YOU NEED TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!!!
The pulled chicken sandwich is good, the white meat half chicken is MOIST and succulent! Give them a try! I believe you will be pleased!
Felt welcomed the second I opened the door. GREAT BBQ. Loved the Brunswick stew. I'll definitely stop again when in Macon GA.
What a great restaurant. The ribs were delicious and very meaty. The beans and potato salad top notch. Benny was very friendly and told us the story about the Brunswick Stew. I will make this a can't miss stop next time I'm in Macon.
My friend saw their tv commercials and wanted to how good their BBQ really is. Well I was amazed how much meat they gave you on the Sandwhich, We meet the owner and he was super nice even came to give us refills on our drinks.. I highly recommend this place !!!!
I went by on the 4th. Bennie said he'd just closed but unlocked the door & let me come in and his son took my order. I got a rib plate with baked beans & smoked potatoe salad, it was very tasty. The sauce was was good, rib meat little chewy, Baked beans were spicy. Will try again, probably pulled pork sandwich.
