The lighthouse isn't what it was back in the 80's. All and all the hardwood wasn't bad...but everything else was pretty much worn out.
3 weeks in and I'm very happy with my decision to join. I only use the pool, dressing room, and showers. Having owned a pool previously I'm pretty picky about the water quality. Nice, clear water at Lighthouse so far. Sometimes the temp varies based on outside temps, I think. It has always been acceptable as a warm therapy pool. A little too warm a couple of days but not a big deal. Employees are friendly. It's not a fancy facility but I wasn't looking for fancy. Meets my needs!
I bring my children for swim lessons and Kung Fu, while the lessons are great (they are businesses separate from the Lighthouse), the actual facility is filthy. I have alerted staff weekly for over a month and the filth has not been cleaned.
