We had good meals there last night but we were disappointed at our experience at the Bistro for 2 reasons. Firstly we arrived early and were given a seat near the guitarist's stage as requested. 40 minutes later there is no sign of him. We enquired and were told its island time - just be patient. After 80 minutes we ask again and are told he isnt coming! Why both staff members we dealt with didnt let us know in a timely manner was really disappointing. We had come a long way to see this show. The food was great and the service was great also. Our waiter Brian was wonderful, pleasant, friendly and provided great service to us! This is our first time to Kauai and our first time to Bistro and we would definitely come back here again. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a great meal from a local restaurant!! They also give a nice portion! Oh and they can sure cook a steak and I am very picky!

The five stars is for the quality of the beef on the burger! By far, best one I’ve ever had on Kauai in 18 years!!
