My son attended this center and returned home with a head injury that required an ER visit. Because he is nonverbal, he could not tell us what happened. When we raised concerns and asked questions, the staff denied the injury occurred there and even threatened to contact DCS instead of providing a reasonable explanation. In addition, the center frequently forgot to send home my son's food flask and water bottle, forcing us to replace them multiple times. Yikes. inconsiderate to even potential employees.
We have had two children go to the Avon location. Amanda is an amazing BCBA. She listened to our concerns and helped come up with ways to help our boys through various challenges. The right center and the right BCBA are key to the successes of the RBTs and their clients. Amanda does a good job supporting her clients and her team, at least from a parent’s perspective. I couldn’t recommend her more!
My son goes here and he loves it
Do not send your kids to this school they are crazy people they do not take care of black kids they leave them and treat them like animals do not trust them please I'm telling you all these locations do not send your kids there .they will lie to you for a paycheck don't trust them.
