I recently used Lightning Van Lines to move here in the East Bay. The searching process was a pain in the rear because I went to a moving website for quotes and got bombarded with calls and emails from 15 different companies. I have to start all over looking for a mover, because Lightning VanLinesrefused to honor an offer I had in writing when I called in to finalize the plans. They said the price had gone up, and even though my estimate was in writing, they refused to honor it. At this stage, even if they offered to move me for the quoted price--should I be doing business with someone like this?
