Not a good experience at all. Couldn't even draw my blood. Sent me out with virtually no explanation of what happen or offer to do the other arm, nothing. 2 stars for their politeness.
I donated blood there as a walk in. They asked would you like to come in again in 8 weeks and donate again. I say yes, they set up the next appointment date. They start sending txts a few days prior and the day of my appointment which they scheduled. I get there 10 minutes early and still have to wait 30 minutes to be helped. the lady pulls me up on the computer and says you are 1 day early you cannot donate. i show her my txts from them. i was there exactly as they asked. i remind her y'all are the ones setting up this appo... read more

I recently donated blood at the Louisiana Lifeshare Blood Center on Linwood Avenue. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the entire process smooth and efficient. I felt like I had a new person sticking my needle, but she was surprisingly skilled and gentle, causing no pain at all. While it seemed like it might have been her first time, she did a fantastic job! Normally, they give gifts away after giving blood.
