This place is a joke. I called today today to schedule an appointment for my son. I was put on hold for over 5 minutes. I hung up, called back and it then went to voicemail. I made an appointment with another place in Norfolk who were far more professional. Im going to let the doctors office know about this so then can remove Life's Journey from their referral list.

It’s frustrating to see how these so-called “mental health facilities” operate. They aren’t truly about care — they’re about Medicaid dollars. They prey on the homeless, many of whom have already been bounced around between similar pop-up facilities. In reality, people are only kept for a short stay — sometimes just 24 hours, rarely more than a few days. I love the staff here. Everyone is so nice and willing to help. Loved my counselor and very thankful for her. she helped me get a lot done during our time together.
