I’ve been donating at Lifeblood Orange for many years, and have always had a very positive experience. Therese, and all the amazing team, make you feel so welcome, looked after and appreciated - I always come away having had a good laugh! What a wonderful way to make a positive differences in the lives of others.

Ask for some other nurse than Wendy. Hurt me & wasted my time. Doesn’t know how to insert a needle properly to not cause pain & ensure donation can be made. Blood flowed out, bruised arm. So no blood donated. Sent home with bruised arm, bruise cream & told to ring 1300 number if any issues. I’m O-, generic blood type. My blood can be used for anyone whose blood type is not known, also in emergencies. I couldn’t give blood for 40 years because of ban on anyone in UK around time of Mad Cow disease.
