The first thing you notice is the attraction of building and grounds on a very serene, quiet location. You walk in and the decor is like a well staged interior, so homey. Clean. Spacious. Quiet,serene inside as well. The staff greets everyone with caring attention. Patients are first taken to assigned room, private, one bed only. Again the decor lends warm surroundings. My grandmother, Dorothy Barksdale, spent her last couple days here. She went to Heaven last night. The facility itself is beautiful, warm, and inviting. The people though absolutely make the difference. Everyone was amazing, caring and compassionate. They made the difference for our grandmother and the family. Outstanding personal service and friendship. Thank you all so much.
Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. ...with the two...caused stressful nights. ..took my wife home...she is doing better with Hospice care at home and Hospice nurse. .i wish I could have given a..5...but not yet..
The staff went above and beyond to make our difficult time a little better...thanks to all of them..
My 94 year old mom stayed there for 5 days' respite care while my husband and I visited our son's family out of state. She loved her stay! She said they took very good care of her and were also friendly and made her very comfortable. I recommend this place with my whole heart! Luther Allgood made sure we were comfortable with all the arrangements and made it very simple and easy for us. Thank you, Luther and everyone at the Hospice House!
