Beware of your charges and who you are being seen by. They have LSWs seeing patients operating “under licensed therapists who review their files each week” which goes undisclosed on their website and when the LSW calls for intake. Then they will try to tell you the CPT Code for billing is a 60 minute session (CPT CODE 90837 listed below), please understand, this legally means they must have 53 minutes of uninterrupted face time with you DOCUMENTED. I am finishing up my internship here at Life Psychotherapy and enjoyed it so much I am transitioning on as a staff member! I learned so much about the day-to-day of a therapist through working here and it truly validated my career path of becoming a therapist! I had the honor of interning here and being able to firsthand view the beauty of therapy and the therapeutic relationship between a client and the provider. The providers and staff are very genuine and all have the passion/empathy needed in this field. As part of the staff we stayed on top of the clients needs by following up and making sure that everything was set prior to the first session. If i had to recommend any practice.. it would be this one. Highly recommend Jeremy as well!
