Tried to book an appointment, and the receptionist asked why I wanted to see a particular psychologist. Such an invasive question for a receptionist to ask. I explained I have read about each psychologist on their website and this person best suited my needs... why is that not enough? I was not allowed to book in with this psychologist if I did not share why I wanted to see them. No one should have to be interrogated for their personal and private reasons why they want to see a particular psychologist.
