I would not recommend this counseling service. It was recommended to me by my pastor, and I was told it was "Christian counseling." However, after over $1000 out-of-pocket plus what my insurance covered, I walked away with no answers. The Bible was never opened, not even once. My counselor never even mentioned God, Jesus, sin, or the Bible. In the end, he did recommend a good restaurant. That's all I got out of this experience. Mike Johnson is amazing. He is down to earth and doesn't try to clinically counsel you but rather listens intently and applies real world suggestions and alternative views to help better understand your specific situation. He is very popular among the other counselors there and therefore finding convenient appointments can be a bit challenging especially if you are working.
