Ive been in therapy since i was 8 and i am now almost 22. I’ve bounced to alot of different therapists. Today i had my first appointment with Melina Harden. She is accepting of others and she is great for clients with ptsd. She is very soft spoken and she respects boundaries. I'm going to give 3/5 because I know this is a hard topic to be fair about and because my anxiety did improve while I was here. However, I brought a conflict of interest (my ex and I were seeing the same person) to my therapist's attention, and she said we could keep seeing each other, only to drop me with no notice over a year later when I was in the middle of a crisis. I was getting counseling here for about two years, and my therapist often seemed bored and/or dismissive.
