The NP her name was Erin or something was extremely dismissive, did not ask any questions much and brushed off that I was already on a medication before completing a lab exam that would later show false negative bc of her ignorance. I told her I was taking meds which she brushed off and now I’m back to being symptomatic after her bare minimum treatment she prescribed and a false negative on hand. I am extremely disappointed with this office — the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy is shocking. In all my life, I’ve never encountered such rude behavior from a receptionist. I arrived 20 minutes late due to a car accident that completely shut down the street, and I explained the situation upon arrival. I’ve been coming here for years, but my recent visit left me extremely disappointed. They drew about eight vials of blood before telling me there was a $20 charge for the draw. I wasn’t even given the option to have my labs done through an outside lab, so the fee felt forced. dr. perez dismissed my alarming symptoms, which another doctor later discovered to be tumors. I explained to her my symptoms that even the most inexperienced doctor would’ve ordered ultrasounds for. instead, she recommended I change birth control and sent me home. I saw another doctor a few weeks later who listened to my concerns and ordered tests and he found tumors! So the doctor asks me a question of how I am doing and I tell her. I ask her a question about what I believed is part of the exam but, because of this I am charged fifty dollars because the office said it was not a question that pertains to my annual.
