When I was a small boy, my grandfather used to take me to Liehs & Steigerwalds. He got off the boat from Danzig when he was 11 yrs. old in the 1890's, I'm now in my 70's. Wonderful place, good people.
I stopped in today for some staples that weren't available at Regional Market. I have lived in Sedgwick for years and usually only gone here for brisket, prime rib or the best jerky around. I should consider them each week and I will now. The team is ALWAYS friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Thank you!
Always fresh, high-quality meats. When they had a store in Clay. we went weekly. I had my meats delivered through Mercato.com this past Tuesday, all went perfect. In fact, we placed an order for my mother-in-law today, she will get her otrer delivered tomorrow. Highly recommend!
Twice now I have made a long drive to get there only to find out that the items I wanted weren't made that day or that week. Yet they are on the online and in-store menus. I was initially so happy to discover the place, but if I have to take a chance about what may/may not be available, it's not worth it.
