The view is awesome, the food is good and the service is really SLOW. But you are on vacation so relax and slow down and enjoy!
The location and setting are the things which place The Standard above most South Beach outdoor dining. Being down right next to the water is unique enough. But then Belle Isle separates it from the we think of as the island of Miami Beach. You feel like you are almost adrift in the Biscayne Bay, and that is a great thing. To escape the hub-bub of South Beach, The Lido is a welcomed retreat serving very good food at prices reasonable for South Beach.
