Those who like authentic Italian food savor every bite at this upscale restaurant. Diners would never guess this restaurant is housed in a former freight depot. Many diners come just to see how New York restaurateur Lidia Bastianich has transformed the place. The service is excellent and the Northern Italian entrees, including Lidia's Pasta Tasting, a sample of three seasonal pasta dishes, are mouthwatering. Its charm and elegant atmosphere add an element of romance to an already top-notch setup.

*Dimly lit, relaxing atmosphere *Unexpected and unique menu options *Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating.
service was great as was the food Hugh energy and cozy atmosphere in historic setting
Not sure if the chef was out sick , had the pasta trio ... it was all quite tasteless ... waitress , ambiance and wine was good . Bread was just out the fridge , the hummus and olive oil was amazing .... I left very disappointed. The pasta ravioli was nice pasta , the filling tasteless with the same as a sauce . The vegetable pasta was again without taste , the shrimp was good , the pesto spaghetti was green if that was the evidence of pesto but without any sauce , olive oil etc therefore without taste ... sorry but on that ... read more
I give 2 stars for the service only. Our waitress was fantastic. The food was honestly horrible... I am an Italian/Sicilian woman. I have been craving a homemade Italian meal just like my great grandmothers, outside of my own cooking. This meal tasted like store bought Ragu sauce drenched in olive oil. I’ve been looking forward to eating here since I was a little girl (hence the same name). I couldn’t even bare to eat more than three bites of my entree just to get my moneys worth. I am very disappointed, will not recommend o... read more
