I had waited a long time to visit one of Lidia's restaurants, business brought me to Kansas City and my wait was no more. The atmosphere was amazing only to be overshadowed by the delicious food. I was able to meet an old friend native to the area which made the experience even better and found out that his brother hand crafted the magnificent blown glass light fixtures. Our service was excellent and the food was great.
Food was great, service was lacking. I came here with a reservation for my anniversary. Neither of us had been to Lidia's but heard great things. We decided to do the unlimited pasta trio, with salad and dessert. At first the service was prompt, but that ended very quickly. After we finished our salads, we waited close to 20 minutes or more before getting our pasta. Then once we got our pasta, we didn't speak to any server for AT LEAST an hour or more. Had pasta sampler and Caesar salad. Very good. Friend had cannelloni and Caesar salad also very good. We had a reservation and were seated right awAy and our waiter attended to us promptly. Would def come back again.
Great service and wonderful food. It was our 30th anniversary and Lidia's made it very nice!
Food and atmosphere phenomenal. Patrick our waiter was just that our waiter. My date said his looks too serious, the wait assitants was awesome. Very personable and interacting with me and my quest. Finally the hostess was nice and friendly. The ribeye was cooked perfect and the lamb chops. We had a great night just tell Patrick to � smile.
Excellent service et bonne bouffe, surtout les raviolis et le tiramisu. Seule remarque negative a faire, trop de thym dans une des pâtes, dommage Le pain et les deux "beurres" et huile, vraiment sublimes Merci poue la belle soirée Se sera un beau souvenir de mon roadtrip aux USA

The service was as good as I expected. My son had the pasta trio which mediocre for a restaurant like this. The halibut was above par but the portions seem minimal. The lamb chops I had were excellent.
