They force you to pay an extra $39 for the fundus photos. Never in my life have I been to an optometrist who didn't give you the choice and FORCED it. Heck, my previous optometrist would just do it for free if insurance didn't cover it. Very scummy.
They force you to do a $40 retinal exam that is not covered by insurance even if you do not need or want it. Nefarious way to charge extra for a simple prescription for glasses I had the exact same test done a few months back, do not need it again so soon. I was planning on also getting glasses made. But if that is the first impression, I’m not waiting for a second to find where they will stick another unwarranted charge to inflate the bill.
