**UPDATE 9/9:** At closing, we were told we would receive a digital copy of our documents by the end of that day or the following day. Three business days later, we still had not received them. This became an urgent problem when DTE required our deed by end of day to restore power because of an issue involving a former tenant. I recognize that our closing took place during unusually severe weather, including a tornado warning, and I want to be fair about the disruption that undoubtedly caused. My concern is not that circumstances were unusual; it is that I don’t think those circumstances, or our closing generally, were handled professionally.
