The Liberty is a historic theatre (built in 1927) that has been fully remodeled to it's Art Deco Spendor and with state of the art presentation from 35 mm and Digital Projection systems and Dolby Digital sound. The theatre is independently owned and offers inexpensive movies ($3.75 general admission), and a variety of films, mostly new releases with occaisional art, documentary and classic films. Great venue. Very old school theatre with alcohol beverages available.
Such a comfortable atmosphere. There is a lot of history for the people who grew up her. Every other Saturday we had Matinees starting at noon and ending at 4. Mom would make a brown bag lunch for all 4 of us to sharee. She would give each of us .50cents for candy.
