The Liberty is a historic theatre (built in 1927) that has been fully remodeled to it's Art Deco Spendor and with state of the art presentation from 35 mm and Digital Projection systems and Dolby Digital sound. The theatre is independently owned and offers inexpensive movies ($3.75 general admission), and a variety of films, mostly new releases with occaisional art, documentary and classic films. While I was a bit off put by the 40 minutes of “infomercial” of RUSH merch prior to the film, and the FB posts about the audio quality falling short were correct, I still hold Liberty Theater in high regard for slightly “off center” film variety—reasonable prices and downtown Camas is just as quaint as can be. Highly recommend!
It's close and the prices are reasonable. And it's a great theater!
We try to get to the Liberty a couple times a month or more, depending on what’s playing. We are extremely fortunate to have this theatre in our community. Great selection of films, very friendly people, clean and accommodating to all ages. Just saw “Echo in the Canyon” today. Where else is this gem playing? No where! 🍿🎭❤️
