During a claim, they make the policyholder determine who will do the restoration work, and then they stiff the contractors in order to force the client to pay out of pocket. Do not use Liberty Mutual insurance, they do not pay their claims!!! My fence company, Fence Wizards, did emergency site fencing for a client whose business was damaged by the Lake Village, Indiana tornado. Seemed like a good deal at the beginning. The first two people I spoke to were very helpful and friendly. All payments were on time for 4 months and I even paid a full month ahead of time, so I paid 5 months total, but a week later found a better deal with Geico and cancelled my policy on the phone. The lady told me I'd be getting around $250 back for the prepaid month and most of the current payment as 3 days had passed for that cycle. A week later I got charged a full month again, no refund. A $50 cancellation fee when your policy is paid in full and up for renewal is ridiculous and greedy.
