I just received the most disgusting food of my life .The potato greens looked uncooked and super green with lots of oil sitting on it and so those the check rice and stew. The stew is super salty with large amount of oil in it. I’ll be returning it to them in few minutes and take pictures to send to doordash for a full refund. I’m not about to eat food that’ll make me sick.
We came here tonight because they had just built a new patio and were hosting a night market. This is the first time I have ever tried Liberian cuisine, and let me tell you , if you are a spice lover like myself, YOU MUST TRY THE FOOD. Absolutely delicious, made with love, fresh and spicy! I cannot wait to go back and try the goat soup. The owner’s energy is enough to make you want to go back every single day. He was so welcoming and kind. Cannot recommend enough. An absolute gem, and total asset to our 118 ave community
This peanut soup & fufu was the bomb diggity it reminded me of my childhood. I walked into the restaurant and the place was spotless. Washrooms were clean and I loved the Gospel Music playing in the background. The food takes time to prepare because it's fresh, but it's worth the wait. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you want a taste of Africa.
The food and service is very good, i talked with the owner and they can accomodate for allergies or dietary restrictions if you just tell them or ask. Also as an added bonus they are flexible with spice levels so if you have either a good spice tolerance or are sensative to spicy foods they can change it.
