Before my husband knew how bad it was he was happy, really happy... to tell me all about the diagnosis Hategan had of me via the text my husband and I had been exchanging... Ya... and when I went and googled the names he was throwing out they included schizophrenia as part of them. Next my husband came back with 'we swore even under oath that we'd never tell.' Dr. Hategan through a balanced application of medications and therapy has enabled me to continue to live what I consider to be a normal existence after reacting inappropriately to the majority of my life's situations. Age 75
NEGLIGENT, RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. After completing TMS treatments in this office with another provider(whom was professional and polite), I decided to see Dr. Hategan for medication management. During my appointment she made unprofessional and rude comments in regards to my child and then spent most of the appointment talking about herself and telling me details about another patient whom she has been treating for several years. She never pay attention to my words. She just looking at her computer at all time and perfunctorily our conversation.
The office staff at Dr. Hategan’s office are wonderful! They are very kind and understanding and make you feel very comfortable. Dr. Hategan is a excellent doctor and is very down to earth and realistic. Both the doctor and the staff are great people and I am a very happy patient. Highly recommend!
Dr Hategen is truly a life saver. I don't use that term lightly. I was in able to live life to the fullest and after a couple no BS conversations with DR. Hategan my life is completely different. I am taking half the amount of pills as I use to and along with exercise and nutrition. My life is 100% better and I owe a lot of that credit to Dr Hategan vecause you can't just go to the store and get these things. Some reviews I read said she is "cold". I would say she is fact oriented.
Dr. Hategan is a compassionate, Smart and thoughtful psychiatrist. I've seen her for two years. She's always had my back when I needed her. She's helped me find my own way through the little previews of Hell I have an apparent knack for finding. Because of her I know and accept who I am. She nurtures yet is tough when she needs to be. She is way too smart to be fooled into prescribing drugs you don't need, yet won't hesitate if you do. Gotta love that! If you are looking to heal, call her today.
I'm a patient of Dr Hategan at her Beaverton office. She's always been very professional and clearly interested in how I'm feeling, and patient with all my questions (I have a bunch!). I'm doing much better, and pleased with my treatment so far. Another thing I like is not having to wait once I arrive for an appointment, maybe only a minute or two.
Saved my life. I came in with major depression from numerous significant losses - which happened all at once. I could not cope. I felt "completely unfixable" and told her so. Could not see a future. She gave me hope, listened compassionately, and saw me often until we got the RX perfect & "talked it out". I now feel like a new healthy and *happy* person. Have seen numerous p-docs over the years but no one comes close to her. Incredibly skillful doctor. Highest recommendation.
