I hate leaving negative reviews but unfortunately i feel I have to. I wanted to bring my friends here so they could try out paddle boarding and half of the paddles were broken so you couldn’t even stand up and paddle. Also the paddle boards are meant to be inflated to a certain PSI and they werent even close. That causes the boards to be extremely wobbly even for me who does this a lot. If they replaced the broken paddles and inflated the boards more it would’ve been great.
I was last here 50 years ago. :-)
LGS Recreation, located in Vasona Lake County Park, is where I first tried stand up paddle boarding, and it has quickly become one of my favorite places. The water is calm, making it perfect for beginners, and the scenery around the lake is absolutely beautiful. There is a $6 entrance fee when entering the park.
Rented a 4-person pedal boat and a 2-person kayak. One of us is in a wheelchair - the staff were extremely helpful and kind. They made the entire experience look easy and accessible. Thanks guys!
