RecommendedDr. Nelson is amazing! When I brought my Aussiedoodle Charlie in he was scared because of the past vet we took him too! Dr. Nelson took the time to get to know Charlie so he would feel comfortable with him! Charlie isn’t afraid to go to the vet anymore & I love that! They also, have done an amazing job with my moms dog Fynn! He’s had 2 surgeries. Fynn loves going to his water therapy appointments! Thank you so much Dr. Nelson & your staff! Your nothing short of amazing! Our dogs love you!
RecommendedFriendly, reasonable & accommodating! My usual vet of over 10 years wouldn’t make an exception or squeeze 10 minutes into their day to get 1 of my dogs rabies shots in before license due as they had catchup due to Covid closure despite the fact they knew I needed it & they had been seeing all of my dogs for over a decade! Granite City not only understood the sense of urgency and got my dog in, but they were thorough and reasonable! I’m now bringing all my dogs to them!

RecommendedWhen my little fur baby became suddenly sick and need to be put to sleep, I called my Veterinarian for assistance. Due to Covid19 they wanted me to drop her off curbside, they wanted to put her to sleep without me. I called Granite City Pet hospital, having never been there before they told me to come in. I was able to hold, love and comfort her during the process. They showed us compassion & kindness which I will never forget and they are a friendly knowledgeable group, the only place I trust my pets to.
