I WOULD NOT recommend buying a car from here simply because after finding a car online and driving two hours to look at it they didn t have the car. I called before I left and on the way to make sure the car was in stock but they didn t have it when I got there.
Lewisville Car is one of the best places, if not THE best places to buy a used car in DFW. I bought my first car with Sam (the owner) around 10 years ago when he had just opened, and I have bought two more cars from him for my kids since then! I looked at a 2004 Honda Civic. Loved the car and the price, but then I got it checked out at Firestone(down the street) and found out that it had a major problem with the timing belt and the tire rims were bent. When I asked Sam to fix them, he said that he could, but I had to pay him for the job. He was willing to sell me a car that needed \$1000 worth of work done before the car was safe to drive. Just bought a car here. Worked with Sam. He was fair and no pressure. He let me take the car in for inspection by a new car dealer/mechanic before I purchased. From what I can see, he doesnt inflate his prices but gives you close to his best deal upfront. I had never bought a car before from an independent used car lot and was hesitant to do so, but it was a good experience all around.
Talk to Sam at Lewisville Car is youre looking for a decent used car. Sam is very helpful and very fair. He also has a mechanic who is there full time and if you have a problem with your car after you buy it they will take care of you. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a used car because they check out every vehicle before they sell it and Sam wont sell something if he thinks it has a problem.
