RecommendedI absolutely adore the Lewiston Veterinary Hospital. They take excellent care of my princess, and even called me to check in after surgery. They are super friendly and work around my schedule
This morning our two and a half year old golden went from frolicking outside to not putting down his back right leg. Living in Rangeley and having family here from CA we called thinking we’d be driving to Lewiston. The receptionist suggested we soak his foot and watch his gait after hearing his symptoms. She wondered if he had gotten stung by a bee. Sure enough - his paw pads swelled up and we saw that it was indeed a bee sting. He’s all better now. Thanks for giving us the great suggestion and saving us a two hour ride.
I love the doctors and the staff especially Dr. Burgess. I have brought my pets there for over 20 years and they have always received great care!

Yesterday was my first visit and I was immediately impressed by the friendliness of the staff. The vet took her time with me and my new puppy to help give us a great start on training tips, etc so that I can be a good “dog mom”. I’m also very thrilled with the “Free vaccines for life” program.
We brought our new cat for a checkup. She was biting at her legs and we wanted to rule out fleas, because we hadn't seen any. She also had issues with skittishness because she came from an abusive household. She was also peeing on our laundry. I figured this was due to the anxiety of a new home, but wanted to rule out a medical condition. First time ever going I brought our office car in with a horrible tooth abscess and they were great, so compassionate, hoping to start bringing my furbabies to them as well
Tonight was a difficult day for my family as we had to put our cat down. Just wanted to say how the staff made me feel so comfortable and they were SO professional. I could tell that they felt for me in this situation. I would recommend Lewiston Veterinary Hospital to anyone!!! Thank you friends!
