After having lung surgery and being diagnosed with lung cancer I chose to receive treatment at Englewood Hospital, NJ...I was assigned Dr. Attas who is part of the HEMATOLOGY ONCOLOGY NETWORK OF PHYSICIANS...Not only did I received chemo therapy and radiation but he applied the most advanced cancer treatment in order to take aggressive action and eventually achieve a cure.Throughout this difficult road, Dr. Attas was always there for me...I was able to reach him regardless of time and he was the first one to show up at the e... read more
I met Dr Attas 10 years ago ,from the very beginning i liked his personality ,he listened well to any question i asked. i felt he was a compassionate and a very efficient doctor...i have and would highly recommend him ...He is simply the best..he would turn a dark cloudy day to a burst of sunshine.....
Dr. Attas is an excellent doctor who is experienced and a true professional. He is a doctor you could trust in terms of providing the best and latest medical care, and treatments in general. His communication skills are excellent as well as his listening skills...He is friendly, courteous and always there for his patients, making them feel that he is part of their journey...Dr. Attas staff is friendly, courteous and very professional.
Dr. Attas allows as much time as I need to discuss my issues. He has been my oncologist for 16 years and I highly recommend him!
Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Attas. He was thorough, took the time to really explain things to me, checked everything that could possibly have needed to be checked, and gave me all the information I could need. I can confidently recommend him!
Saw Dr Attas at Englewood hospital. He was awesome. He took his time to sit with me and explain things and answer all of my questions. I wouldn't hesitate to seek him out if I ever get sick again. Would recommend him to anyone
His method for treating patients is "treat now, diagnose later." He explained to me that iron infusions were safer than pills b/c they "wouldn't give me side effects," and that, b/c I didn't have any known allergies, I'd have nothing to worry about... DO NOT BELIEVE HIM WHEN HE SAYS THIS, B/C I ALMOST DIED!!! Turns out I was allergic to the infusion. (He claims this was a rare occurrence...I don't buy it.) I later found out the cause of my anemia, but it was absolutely NOT thanks to him!
Performed numerous tests onot my mother knowing her medicare would pay, but missed some important results. Rude and arrogant.
