Dr. Lown is a good doctor, but the office and the billing department are both disasters. There is no supervision and going to them is like buying a good reputable car, but not having anyone to service or repair it.
First off, Dr. Lown is a good guy. That’s where the good part ends. The doctor is listed on my insurance as an in-network physician. I was told at the office, they accepted my insurance. They took my insurance card and made a copy. Then the bill came. $400 charge with no explanation. I called and sent a picture of my insurance card again to the billing coordinator. My purpose in writing this review is not to complain about the medical care my family and I received. I have no problems with the actual doctors, other than they are extremely lacking in bedside manner. My problems lie with the office staff and how the office itself is run. When you call the office, the first thing you hear is a litany of office rules - this office is closed for lunch between the hours of 12 and 1 for lunch, our phone hours end at three, don't leave a message on this machine.
