Dr Lew was abrupt, unkind, and shaming. I had heard great things about him and was extremely disappointed. We certainly did not see the 'good' bedside manner others had described. If you are seeking compassion of any kind, avoid this doctor.

I had my knee replacement surgery done in September of 2020 and the other one done in January 2021. Dr. Lew was referred by a friend of mine and I scheduled an appointment with him. From the first appointment I was treated like he had known me for years and walked out of his office HIGHLY IMPRESSED! He made me feel very comfortable... (as I was very nervous about surgery). I highly recommend Dr. Lew and Orthopaedic Associaties. He has performed two replacement surgeries for me (hip and knee). He is personable, professional, gives full explanation of all procedures, diagnostics, and plan for care. Most importantly, he listens to the patient. I have full trust in him and his practice and will return again if the need arises.

Sudden left knee pain which was much more intense than normal arthritic discomfort. Pain was not relieved by a cortisone shot and Dr. Lew agreed to an MRI which identified some torn cartilage. Currently considering surgery and am managing pain with Voltaren. As always, Dr. Lew was willing to work with me to find some answers. Aside from his professional expertise, his people skills are what set him above and beyond most other physicians.

Kinda bummed concerning being dismissed without a serious exam and then eye rolled when I stated I could get an MRI fast through the VA. I did, and VA MRI report shows serious damage to knee. I’ve had good experiences in the past with O.A. -that’s why I returned. Not so much this time. A long time to go around in pain and not taken seriously.
