I am so impressed by the good manners and service. I sent an inquiry ,although they didn't have any available spots but they were kind enough to respond with alternative resources
Suspiciously does not accept arabic sounding patients. Not just from my lone experience. The abrupt rejection is alarming and a shame.
Dr. Gail Scher is truly a miracle worker. She is a patient, dedicated professional who gave our son the ability to communicate with and be understood by others. He looked forward to his sessions and willingly did his homework, a miracle of its own. Illinois' loss is Ottowa's gain.
Gail is the top in her field. Caring, highly intelligent, knowledgeable, and a true partner in our child's therapy. Our child has a severe motor speech disorder, and put simply, if it wasn't for Gail he would not be speaking at all. We started with her when he was under 20 months and had regressed from having over 25 words down to 3. Now, approx 10 months later, he has hundreds of words in his vocabulary, and is putting together sentences! Gail Scher is truly an amazing speech and language therapist. She was able to significantly help my grandson speak with greater clarity in just over a year. Gail was engaging and made every session fun. Our grandson just loved her. All her suggestion and written reports were very thorough, detailed and very well thought out. She always took the extra time to either meet with teachers at the school or answer any questions. We are forever thankful for the gift of speech Dr. Gail Scher gave our grandson.
