We are have taken our dogs to Lesslie Animal Hospital for many years now and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. When we had to make the hard decision to put our dog to sleep back in May, Dr. Setzer and his whole staff were amazing. They allowed us to cry and stay with our dog for as long as we needed and they sent us a handwritten note of condolence, which I felt was above and beyond. I brought my dog in yesterday. The doctor said he knew without a doubt what it was and so the X-rays weren't necessary. He went into surgery last night and 6 and we got a call at 9 doctor said that he was ok and that his intestines took a banging and that hopefully they would function normally again but there was always a chance they wouldn't. Long story short we get a call as soon at they opened at 8 am from the doctor saying that bruno had passed away. He assumed it was from the anesthesia... Really like u should of known ... read more
