EDIT : it has been 7 years since this post. And I stand by it. I was referred to Ms. O'Neal by a psychiatric hospital, upon my release. I will choose not to refer to her as a doctor. As someone invested in my mental health for years, and undiagnosed with my actual mental illness (bipolar 1), I visited Ms. O'Neal to try and get better. I was cognizant of my mental state on our first visit. I asked her what my diagnosis was. I was met with the answer "You were psychotic, and it will happen again." No diagnosis. Providing mental health services is a particularly difficult field and Leslie has always done so very well. I know I, personally, can be very hard to deal with, but she's always provided excellent care and helped me find a drug regimen that helps me keep my life under control.

I went to see Lesley at a low point in my life. Unfortunately, she over medicated me so much so that I could not remember what I did 5 minutes ago. I could not function and walked around in a daze and sad. When I asked her to lessen the medications, she said “ I need them”. She never counseled me, just asked how I was, did not listen, just typed in her computer. I finally broke free and found a therapist who medicated me but not to an extent I did not function.
