Took my car in for a axle replacement through my extended warranty. I thought I would be without my car for at least 3 to 4 days if not longer depending on how long it took to find the part. They had me done in 1 day. Can you believe it and the cost was half of what I was estimated at another repair shop. Due to the fact that it was an after market part, I did have to take it back due to vibration and they replaced it (the part was faulty, which is not the repair shops fault) and I was on my way. Didn’t fix the problem. We left with more problems. Sometimes you have to take the loss but I won’t be back.
The mechanic explained everything very clearly. Im very grateful they saved me a lot of money that a dealership tried to get me to spend for something my truck didnt really need.
Mikey is an exceptional mechanic who brings honesty to the forefront of his business model. They maintain all my vehicles from my 20 year old car up to my new Lexus. I proudly recommend this shop to all my friends and family because I know I can trust him and the staff.
Told me my vehicle would need a new engine, $10k+ just because I said it has coolant in the oil and they said "the bearings are compromised" without even inspecting the engine. Sounds very lazy and greedy. I'm pretty sure it doesn't even need head gaskets with only 81k miles on it, I suspect it is the plastic oil filter housing, they are known for failing at this milage and cause coolant to mix with the oil.
