I’ve eaten at many airport restaurants, but this was by far one of the worst. The chili literally looked like poop — thick, lumpy, and unappetizing. The mozzarella sticks were greasy and tasted like they’d been sitting out too long. What made things worse was the service. The server was cold, unfriendly, and treated other customers kindly while ignoring me. It felt discriminatory and uncomfortable. To top it off, she automatically selected a 20% tip on the payment screen — for service that didn’t deserve a cent.
Manager SAA Fares B made my experience horrible. I can to get a salad to eat and he gave me a hard time trying to get food ordered. Paige was very helpful and did everything she could to accommodate me and he came over and basically told me that I can't have it my way and if I dont want the food than I can leave. So I had to take my money to another restaurant.
The only place to dine in the A Concourse! Hopefully, the freakin fantastic Tia will be your server as she's the best! THANK YOU!
Meal: Lunch Day Visited: Monday Budget: $15 Closest Station: N/A Reservation Needed?: N/A Payment: Cash; Credit Kid Friendly?: Yes English Menu?: Yes Was it a risk to eat a chili dog and hot wings before my trans-Pacific flight? You better believe it was. However, assuming no food poisoning in the next few hours, I think Leo’s is going to be my Go To at DTW. Good dogs and wings! The service was straight out of Coney Island and overall good diner vibes.
We had plenty of time for breakfast so we went here. We were quickly seated that the coffee came out hot and ready to drink. Ordered an omelette and eggs. I'm surprised the Western novel doesn't have cheese but I ordered cheese on mine anyway and it was delicious. We also ordered regular eggs with bacon. Bacon was very good The eggs were cooked perfectly. Just like we ordered. Our server kept the coffee coming. It was easy to hear each other there. We enjoyed our breakfast there.
