The flavors are true to the menu. The portions are just enough, the selections are plentiful. They make each order fresh as you would like it.
My family would drive from Joplin on the weekends to eat at Leong's. It wasn't just their cashew chicken. The egg rolls to this day are still the best I ever had. There is an ingredient in them that I have never tasted at any other Asian diner. Peanut butter. If you are one to try cooking Asian food yourself. Use peanut butter in your egg rolls. I asked a server years ago. She had been with them since it opened in 1963. She told me that was it. Best Chinese cuisine I have ever had to this day.

After spending the weekend at big cedar for our 25th anniversary surprised the wife with some Leongs at home.. EXCEPT I got out the China, crystal and good flatware ... that with a candle and a grandma taking our son to dinner made for the perfect top off.
Very rude night manager. We're done there, and would not recommend to anyone.
The best cashew chicken there is, hands down. Very satisfying.

The chicken and fried rice seemed like it was day old left overs the entire meal was lukewarm. Very very disappointed, will never be back

Typically this would be a 5 � review. I eat at Leong's just about every week, and have done so for over a year now that I've moved back to the area. Not only did our food take over half an hour to come out, it was lukewarm at best. When asked by the manager how the food was we were honest. I'd be willing to let this one instance go, if it weren't for how rude the manager was regarding the instance. I will unfortunately not be revisiting this restaurant. Very disappointing.
