My name is Pat Elicker ~ owner of the jewelry barn. Our business was started in 1947 by my father Leon Ness. He was a jeweler-watchmaker and had his business on 122 E. King St. in York, PA. Being a collector of antique cars, he moved the business in 1968 to our present location, 2695 S. George St, and used the bottom of the barn into his store and kept his cars upstairs.

Chris and I needed our rings resized and expected to pay tons of money at a jeweler and walked out paying pocket change and having our rings sized in under 5 minutes! Pat was the sweetest and she knows her stuff! Thank you so much!!

I have been shopping there for 30 years . I love mom & pop businesses when you walk in the door the same people that were there 30 years ago are still there now . Pat's repairs on new & estate jewelry are perfect & if you are looking for something she'll make it or find it for you . Also she treats everyone the same no matter how much you are spending , that says a lot ! This has to b my all time favorite jewlery store... unlike Kay jewlery I will hav a unique peice that no one else has, she has everything from new peices, custom ones, if u just bring a stone in she can create a setting for thw stone, and my favorite part are her estate and Victorian era peices... highly recommended by me! Bring her ur old peices or ones u dont like anymore (divorce) broken peices and she will buy them and or u can pock something out and swap the peice u dont want for a peice that u like... the staff is amaz... read more
