Rochester's original farm-to-table experience. Creative, seasonal menu. Locally sourced ingredients. Rustic/chic vibe. (Best date night in town.)
Wine was old - actually threw a crust in the glasses. Fish fry was small - mostly grease cooked batter - had a bad taste - couldn't eat it. Requested it be broiled when it was ordered but the waitress said she didn't think they would do that -- and guess what -- they didn't. It was awful. So much for my Mother's Day celebration with my daughter.
Excellent service and great food. Not inexpensive but it doesn't break the bank either. Love the fact most food is locallly sourced and the menu changes frequently. Highly suggest trying the craft cocktails at the bar. Awesome creations and Chaz is a great bartender.
The owner of Lento, Art Rogers, pays poverty wages to his employees and actively works against legislation that would raise their pay. After listening to him go on the Ed Dawson show, lie about his finances, and then complain about how hard he has it as a business owner while his workers are unable afford basic necessities has led me to decide that I will never eat at this establishment again. We had a wonderful experience tonight!! Zack was the perfect server, the food was fabulous, and the surroundings beautiful. Soooo glad we went there to celebrate my sister's birthday. It could not have been any better..... thank you!!!
