I cannot begin to recommend this place enough. The staff are amazing and our waiter Zack(h) was both attentive and patient with us while we took our time fussing over drinks and food. The Brie and poutine with duck gravy were both fantastic and my steak was cooked to order and to perfection as well as excellently seasoned. The drink menus left absolutely nothing to be desired. I will definitely be eating here again during my next trip to the Rochester area.
Slow service, sold out of the dish we wanted. Very so so experience.

We’ve been enjoying Lento for several years. We love the farm-to-table offerings. Wonderful cheeses, entrees, seafood, and deserts. The service is spectacular in a very warm and inviting setting. If the weather is right, eating on the patio is wonderful. For this meal we enjoyed heirloom tomato salad, poutine, crispy duck with polenta, gnocchi, stuffed tortellini, and panna cotta.
Excellent service. Wide variety of wines, delicious and tasteful food.
Slightly disappointed: There used to be vegan entrees on the menu. Now it’s just a vegan burger that I can buy at wegmans and cook at home and/or get at almost any other restaurant in Rochester. I liked coming here when I could find a unique vegan entree and my husband could get great local food that wasn’t vegan. Our service was pretty rocky at first, but our server recovered that by the end of our meal.
Always a great experience at Lento’s, friendly staff, amazing food and great atmosphere!
