Lennar Horror story (You could not make this one up). Shame on you Lennar - Georgia and corporate Miami. I am a homeowner at Towns at Ivy Creek, a Lennar community in Buford, GA. Run do not walk. They will steal your earnest money and make it look like your fault. They will refuse to deny your loan even if you’re still within your 30 day contingency. They will push you past the 30 days and take your earnest money. Beware.
I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the ongoing issues with my home, which is only about one year old. If you are looking at Lennar in Central Texas because of their "Everything’s Included" slogan, be warned: it is a total marketing gimmick. Most people go to Lennar for value, not because they’re rich, and the company seems to use that as an excuse to treat you with a "take it or leave it" corporate arrogance. The "Penny-Pinching" Reality: For a multi-billion dollar builder, they are remarkably cheap.
