Recently signed contract to purchase new construction at McKenzie S/D in Pensacola and made deposit of $3500.00. I decided to cancel after 2 days for personal reasons and notified Angela Ballard in writing and requested a refund. She submitted email cancellation to her Manager Debra Spalding. Angela after a week responded that her Manager wasn’t going to return the deposit and gave no explanation. Drainage issues, wavy brick on house exterior, shoddy finish work, shorted us on attic insulation, falling apart front door, hose spigot that isn't even attached to the house, paint that wipes off the wall, exterior vents falling off, plumbing was mismeasured so they had to excavate the foundation to get it to fit, walls aren't square, trim around doors is crooked, shower door is crooked and almost the entire house needed to be recaulked. They definitely prefer to hide all the issues with caulk over actually building things ... read more
