Awful awful awful experience! I had to constantly send in pfd's to their "customer service" email address for each time I would pay the mortgage. God forbid you send in a check or money order because that always seemed to get "lost." Even when my payment was made online, and I would screen shot the transaction information, they would still try to say they haven't received it yet. So frustrating this company. Absolute incompetence is what you can expect when speaking to this company. Others have mentioned condescension from the staff, and they are correct. Straightforward questions about an escrow account were beyond the comprehension of the call center agent, yet he insisted on speaking down to me. When I showed him the math proving I was correct, he put me on hold "to look through more information" and disconnected the line. It's obvious he intentionally hung up on me. If Lender Live is holding your mortgage...RUN!!! This is the worst company I have EVER experienced. They sent my escrow to the wrong municipality and shorted my escrow creating a huge deficiency (they also paid my taxes late). I only knew about this when looking at my loan documents online and realizing they were increasing my mortgage payment by over $1,000 (that's right, they jacked it up over TWICE what I was paying!!). We have had a loan with them for just over 2 months and have had to call 6 times to try and get funds in the right places. We have tried to pay over our amount into the principal and they keep not applying it, however the check is cashed. It is beyond frustrating. Every time I call it is a different answer on how to correct it. In the mean time, interest keeps building on my loan. I would not recommend this company to work with, however often we do not get a choice as they buy out your loan from another company.
