Very caring staff.. striving to place pets in good homes!
Very nice facility. All the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.

The staff that walk's the dog's and cleans are very friendly and knowledgeable. But the people that are in the store or lobby to greet customer's are rude. The lady who runs the shelter is patronizing and acts like she knows what's going on when she has no clue. She has no interaction with the dog's or people who are trying to adopt. Just assume's things. If you want dog's adopted out, I suggest you should be more friendly and helpful. Just stuck up and rude! We have had the pleasure of working with the Lenawee Humane society on several different occasions. We have adopted dogs, and have had them help us rescue dogs from unfit situations. Without exception we have always been treated with the utmost respect, as well as the animals. Much admiration to them for all of their hard work, and care they hold for ALL animals no matter the situation. Keep up the amazing work!!
Rescued both my pups from LHS and every time I go there for a nail trim or bath they couldn't be more happy to see us! Its like seeing old friends. They are doing a great service at LHS and you can tell their hearts are in it all the way!
I have heard really good things about Lenawee Humane Society. And where would we be if they didn't take care of the animals that were left, lost or forgotten. I am deeply grateful for this place and how well they care about other animals.

We were disappointed today when we stopped in today @ 2 o’clock (they close @ 3) and were told that the back was “closed” and we couldn’t look at the animals.
