My Bentley Roo had His Man bit's removed He is doing just Great and the Staff is just Wonderful. would recommend Lenawee Humane Society to everyone.

The staff paired us with the perfect puppy mill survivor-she is learning to be a fun and silly girl who enjoys stealing toys from her dog sister! So fun to watch! She has turned into a cuddler who just wants to be loved. Thank you so much!
When my late brother passed of untimely death he request was to find Chico and Susie good homes. After months of a trying, they were surrendered to the Lenawee Humane Society. I was saddened at not being able to see them anymore, but knew they would find good loving homes. One day while at work(nursing home) in walks Chico, with his new owner! I rushed to him and he remembered me! I now see Chico on a regular basis, I know the family he went to the Humane society did a great job!
Best place ever! They love and care for these animals like their very own and work tirelessly to get them to a forever home.

GREAT PLACE TO GET ANIMAL WHO NEED LOVE
although the place was very clean and looked a good home for the animals- i was very drawn away from the experience I had. a few months ago they changed around the inside and apparently the rules. we had to be accompanied into each animals room, which was fine okay, but then before we were even done interacting with the cats someone came in and told us they’d take us to the dogs now. we went, and felt very uncomfortable while visiting the dogs. we had no time to interact or be personal on our own time with the cats nor dogs.... read more
