Dr. Leitenbauer and her staff is always professional and helpful. She knows her stuff, make an appt if you need eyecare!
Dr. Leitenbauer is a professional through and through. But better yet she is a genuine caring person who takes time to understand and explain your situation during an exam. In my experience, Optometrists are very much into LOW VISION issues with a strong emphasis on FUNCTIONAL vision. However, I can speak from family experiences that she also knows when to refer her patients on to an Ophthalmologist if their condition extends beyond her boundaries of expertise. She recently SAVED my eyesight.
Friendly thorough always a good experience. Been going to her 20 years. Don't mind traveling to her.
Dr Leitenbauer has been taking care of my eyes since I moved to Fort Pierce almost 20 years ago. She is personable, professional, and cares deeply for my health and my eyes! She’s patient and always takes the time to thoroughly explain about any issues I have and not just with my eyes! I don’t go to anyone else unless when she’s referred me to the Opthalmologist for cataract surgery! She’s awesome!
