Disbelief – This was my second time at Leif's Hair studio I really did like my first hair cut and decided to go back with the same stylist Maire. I can't complain her haircut was great. My second attempt is a totally different story. So, I booked my appointment ahead I was a tad late not more than 15 minutes and I check in with the hostess which by the way was very judgemental. Most Fabulous Salon EVER. – I absolutely love coming to Leif's. they have been taking care of my hair for a few years now. i've sent tons of my friends to them, and they've all said the same thing. whoever below me said that they are cliquey and "fake nice" is probably on some sort of medication. that is such a lie. they are like a sweet little family there and they always remember my name. they give great hand massages while i get my hair blowdried every time and ask to pre-book my appointments, which is so convenient. i ab... read more
Ask for the girl with the cupcake. – Ive been going for the past year getting trimmed by Stacy and Natalie. the only times i ever love my hair is the few precious hours after either one of them cut and style my hair. as long as im in houston they will be my stylists. your location is terrible though. Driving through 1960 is a pain. move to the woodlands!
Rude and Judgemental – I was recommended by someone in my family, but found several of the hairdressers to be quite rude. They were very bad at pretending to be nice, in a way that resulted in passive aggressiveness. Very cliquey. Were not very accepting of my ideas, and very pushy of their own (not that my ideas were crazy or unheard of). Great Stylist – I have been going to Leif's for about a year and Stacy is my stylist. She is awesome! I brought her a picture of the style that I was wanting. She showed me the pros and cons for that style with my hair type. We took two styles and she colored and cut my hair. It fit my face and personality perfectly. I have sent family and friends to her and everyone has had the same results. She is amazing and very reasonable.
what a quack – waited forever with an appointment with leif. when i finally got in the chair he talked about very uncomfortable subjects and his personal hygine was definately lacking. stylists have their arms up most of the time you are there, think about it. i wanted my hair trimmed and left with a completely different haircut and it was about 3-4 inches shorter! not a trim. then i had to pay an arm and a leg because leif himself cut my hair. give me a break.oh ya i had a friend with me who was african american and they sa... read more

I love Leif's – I recently moved to Houston, and had been going to the same stylist for several years. My husband visited Leif's and Heather cut his hair. I like it so much, I decided to give Heather a try on my very curly, frizzy hair. She did a superb job. I have never liked my hair so much as now. Not only is she great with hair cuts, she colored and highlighted my hair and I have had numerous comments on how good it looks. I recommend Leif's and Heather whole-heartedly.
Fabulous Color – Their color expert, Karen, does a fabulous of job creating natural, shiny colored hair. The cuts I've had have been long-lasting. One of the best salons I've frequented.
