RecommendedBeen coming here since we adopted not just one but two dogs from York SPCA that have allergies. Can’t say enough great things about Dr. P. and his staff!!
Hansie, my schnauzer, suffered terriblly with allergies as a young pup. Once he came under their care he has been able to live a normal life with little or no symptoms and his medication was all natural. If you have an animal suffering, get him/ her here. You will not believe how great the care will be. I have and will continue to recommend!

We’ve taken our husky Kaya to LVVD for around 9 years, for her extreme allergies and zinc deficiency which caused her to scratch many areas on her body, all of her waking hours. We were always very happy with the staff and especially Dr Palmerio. He listens to your concerns and always made us feel that Kaya has his full attention during our visit. I was very impressed with the care my little dog was given. I have never been at a vet where I felt so listened to and valued as the “Mom”. Dr. Palmeiro is wonderful and kind.
After 3 different vets that just wanted to medicate my poor itchy cat Tuco, i am finally able to sleep a little better at night. Dr P and his entire staff actually heard my concerns with Tuco. Two visits in...and i start allergy injections for her tomorrow. I highly recommend them to any one that is dealing with itchy fur babies. Thank you all for the great services and knowledge you provide for all of us.....and our kids.
I’m so glad I have answers for my pitbull who was suffering with constant itching and biting .. she is allergic to so many things ! It’s a relief to know there is positive hope now for her !
