I can’t thank the inpatient hospice staff enough for the compassionate care they provided for my Aunt. Her symptoms were well controlled, medications were given as prescribed and on time, they turned her every 2 hours and would put on lotion to prevent skin breakdown. She was only there 2 days before passing and she was bathed and clean. They were patient with family members who were not the nicest to them. As an RN who worked in Home Care and some hospice, their care was exceptional. Can’t thank you all enough!!

I cannot say enough about the depth of care, compassion, and expertise of the staff at LVH's 17th Street Inpatient Hospice. The care they gave our mom was incredibly responsive, when it came to balancing comfort, relief, and the ability to be present, when possible. Their compasssion for her (and for us) was beyond compare. The environment is gentle, respectful and warm (complete with a little electric fireplace and several comfy family and community rooms). My name is lizzie and I want to say Thank you to all the staff and they do a wonderful job on taking care of my Grammy and her name is Anna brown and they did a wonderful job giving her a bath and making sure her bed is clean and also they do a wonderful job making sure she is comfy and make sure she is good. And also I forgot the housekeepers r so wounerful aslo and they r very nice

I would like no one to pass through this place, I had to go through my wife, my process was very sad, but the attention of the staff was very professional, attentive people, they do what is in their hands. The site is cared for and maintained, coffee, sodas, water and some snacks are available. You can be next to your loved one whatever you want. It has parking and on the ground floor there is a restaurant. It has a living area, where you can converse with a visitor without disturbing the patient.
